Garlic Naan is a staple of East Indian cuisine, and at Nabi Grill Kebab East Indian Restaurant, we bake ours fresh to order in our traditional clay tandoor. The dough is prepared daily using a time-honoured recipe, allowed to rise properly, then stretched by hand and slapped onto the scorching walls of the tandoor where it puffs up and develops those characteristic charred spots.
What sets our garlic naan apart is the generous amount of fresh minced garlic and melted butter brushed on top right as it comes out of the tandoor. The result is a bread that's pillowy soft on the inside, slightly crispy on the outside, with an irresistible garlic aroma. It pairs beautifully with our butter chicken, lamb vindaloo, or any curry on our menu.
